Please go through the following news published in
various daily newspapers and Breaking News on E-TV. The matter has been
discussed in detail with most of the colleagues participated in the
departmental raid/search against duty evading manufacturing units. They have
also admitted facts of abusing, threatening, mis-behaviour & try to mis-handle
by owner of the accused unit and gathering including office bearers of
manufacturers association. As per the information received till now the news
published by Punjab Kesari is a bitter truth.
The Dy Commissioner was supervising
the teams and the Additional Commissioner (AE) also reached on the spot. Please imagine seriousness of incident & and direness of duty evaders ! The teams not
only completed seizure work in Police security but also reached Hqrs office
under escort of Police force. The
incident report has stated been given to the Chief Commissioner for appropriate
action against duty evader and co-accused. Apart from offence case for
duty evasion, it is a fit case for lodging FIR for punishing the accused persons,
otherwise both the executive cadres i.e. Inspector & Superintendent will be
demoralised.
Friends – Please be united for self-respect as it
can also be repeated with any colleague/team in future. It is time to wait and
watch action of the senior officers to maintain image & respect of our
esteemed department as well as subordinate executive cadres.
