Cheating with Cadre by CBEC

Dear Comrades,

We have no hesitation to inform you that our Cadre is again being cheated by concerned authorities of CBEC despite of repeated assurances by all senior officers during all out efforts of the Association team.

1.     The rumours have been confirmed by reliable sources that the original proposed re-organised 4 CE Commissionerates for Rajasthan are being reduced to only 3 Commissionerates too with model of 70 Superintendents against earlier proposed model of 80 Superintendents. The demanded Audit Commissionerate is being sanctioned, but with model of 50 Superintendents.

2.     Our genuine & justified demands for creation of new Customs Commissionerate and separate Service Tax Commissionerates duly recommended & forwarded by the jurisdictional CC of CE (Jaipur Zone) have also stated as turned down by Ms Neerja Saha – DG (HRD) and Shri Najib Saha, the (DG DRI) & Chairman of Committee of Operational Issues for Cadre Restructuring.

3.     It has also learnt that our submissions regarding rapidly spreading workload of Service Tax and of increased Customs formations like LCS Munabao, International Airports etc have also been ignored that is why that not even a single additional post being sanctioned on this account.

4.     Moreover our basic demand of all India seniority in compliance of judgment of the Supreme Court is also not being implemented during implementation of ongoing CR.

Friends – The Association team doing all out efforts to remove the regional disparity in promotional avenues and assurances for justice were also given by senior officers from the Chairperson to Commissioners, but now we are felling that our Cadre is again being cheated by the IRS lobby. Now it is crystal clear that this CR is too by IRS & for IRS.

In view of above, possible new sanctioned strength of Superintendents in Rajasthan will be 340 (70x3+80+50) and the resultant vacancies/promotions will be only 62 (340-278) approximately.

Comrades – Though, the Association team is visiting authorities of CBEC on 5^th to 7^th March, 2014, but we are of opinion that now we have no option except to adopt path of AGITATION + LEGAL ACTION FOR THE JUSTICE. Please be prepared and united for next step as an emergency General Body meeting will be organized after Delhi visit.
