Dear Friends,

 

Congratulations to Shri S. B. Singh to our Chief Commissioner of Central Excise (Jaipur Zone) on his appointment as the Member of CBEC with the status of Special Secretary to the Govt of India.

 

During interaction with our Association he always shown his judiciousness on the burning issues of staff welfare and forwarded following proposals alongwith strong recommendations to the Board on request of the Association for justice & betterment of our Cadre:-

 

1. Creation of Audit Commissionerate in Rajasthan.
 

2. Creation of Service Tax Commissionerate in addition to proposed 2 new CE Commissionerates.
 

3. Creation of new Customs Commissionerate in Rajasthan.
 

4. Sanction of additional posts for Service Tax administration & increased Customs formations.

5. Sanction separate posts for O/o the CC & Commissioner (Appeals).

 

The above genuine & justified proposals are now pending with the Board for final decision. We hope his similar cooperation also at the Board level during implementation of the Cadre Restructuring.

 

This Association is very thankful to him for valuable cooperation and pray the almighty for his bright & successful career.

Comrades - The Association team is going to visit authorities of DG (HRD) & Board in the next week. Please be prepared & ready to make the agitation programme successful, if the real justice is denied by the Board.

News from CEC Meet, Mumbai

Dear Comrades – Good evening,

As posted earlier, We alongwith Comrades Anil Gupta –Vice President and, Manoj Verma –Asstt General Secy and, S.K. Bhagat –Office Secretary attended Central Executive Committee Meeting of our Federation at Mumbai on 22^nd & 23^rd February, 2014.

The Federation informed that during their last meeting dated 10.2.2014 with the new Chairperson and DG (HD) they demanded to implement all India seniority and promotion of at least Inspectors of 2002 batch to the grade of Superintendent during Cadre Restructuring (CR), but the Board authorities informed that they are trying their best possible to minimize regional disparity and planning to promote all Inspectors upto batch of 1998 or 1996, but not given any written assurance. Further, the Board stated not ready to implement all India seniority within the ongoing CR due to upcoming litigations.

As per reliable sources, the notification to notify the jurisdiction & posts was discussed in the full Board meeting on 18.2.2014, but not yet finalized and the notification is likely to be issued within March, 2014. As per information number of posts of Superintendent may be varied in CE Commissionerates/ Zones for possible equity in stagnated Zones.

Being the most stagnated Zone, We had already lodged our protest for non-inclusion representative/s of Jaipur Zone in delegation of the Federation during meeting with Board authorities held on 10.2.2014 that is why that the Federation has now agreed to include VP (NZ) as representative of Jaipur Zone for further meetings with the Board.

Looking into the present scenario, we put forth our reasoned submissions that all India seniority is the only solution for real justice and submitted resolution for step-wise agitation programme including continuous Hunger Strike and legal action for all India seniority in compliance the Supreme Court’s decision. Though representatives of Delhi Circle have not attended the Meet, but our proposal has been passed unanimously by all Circles of Federation including Gujarat and Bhubaneswar Circles.

The charter of demands and agitation programme being finalised issued by the Federation shortly.

Comrades – Please aware all our colleagues about the situation and need of unity to make the agitation programme a great success for common interest of the Cadre. A General Body meeting will also be organized in Hqrs office shortly.

Please remember that our unity is the need of the hour and ABHI NAHI TO KABHI NAHI……

Historical event of our UNITY

Dear Association Members – Good evening

It is a material fact that before election of the Association’s present team there were only 10.72% active/subscribed members of the Association. Now, it is a matter of proud for all of us that today active & subscriber membership has been increased from 10.72% to 86.66%. The Association team is very thankful to all of you for active cooperation, support, faith & unity shown by all of you during the last 5 months. Please keep it up in individual as well as in common interests because the Unity is the Need of the Hour and looking into the attitude of the CBEC we have no option except adopt united agitation programmes, if our justified demands are denied during implementation of the CR. Please remember that ABHI NAHI TO KABHI NAHI…….

Our main demand is removal of regional disparity by implementing all India seniority list and lines of action/agitation will be discussed & finalized during the Federation’s CEC meeting at Mumbai on 22^nd & 23^rd February, 2014. Comrade Abhay Shingh, Gen Secy is continuously in touch with chief executives of the Federation. We are not only committed but also doing our all out tireless efforts for promotion of 250 to 300 Inspectors from Rajasthan, but please note that it will not be possible without your active cooperation & united participation in in DO OR DIE agitation/struggle.

1. The Association’s Executive Body has decided that any matter of Non-Subscriber Inspectors will not be taken up by the Association in any case.

2. The Inspectors working on deputation have agreed to pay their subscription in cash therefore, they have been requested to deposit Rs. 720/- only as annual subscription in Association A/c No. 11074898552 in SBI, NCRB, Jaipur under intimation to Shri Manoj Verma, Asstt Gen Secy (9414278868).

3. The newly joining Inspectors on a/c of recruitment or I/C transfer should also be advised according to get membership of the Association at the earliest.
